Walking-the-Web Tour
Experience Design
I consulted for HOME: A Storytelling Lab, powered by The Music Center & Agog, a 3 day working session bringing together XR creators, placemakers, placekeepers, artists, and community leaders to use Downtown LA (DTLA) as a canvas to a 2085 built on inclusive public space, equitable food systems, and climate justice.

Challenge
As a design consultant I was tasked to design and facilitate a Walking-the-Web tour, to set the foundational common knowledge for the Lab.
Objective
I first positioned myself as a researcher to understand the historical and current landscape of downtown Los Angeles and Lab-specific vocabulary. From there I aligned my DTLA research with concepts from the Lab. Each stop wove together LA history, current data, and emerging technology concepts grounded in the Lab's focus on public space, food equity, and climate resilience, helping participants envision Downtown LA's future. The tour comprised 6 stops across 2 miles in under 100 minutes. I sequenced every detail including content, timing, and transitions, and designed a companion guide so participants could engage in different ways.
Results
The tour comprised 6 stops across 2 miles in under 100 minutes. I sequenced every detail including content, timing, and transitions, and designed a companion guide so participants could engage in different ways. This experience allowed me to hone my research, live experience design, and facilitation skills working as an independent idea maker and collaborative consultant.
